Synopsis – What to Expect from “Husk”
Husk is a horror movie that follows a group of five teenagers who take a detour on their way to a rock concert, only to find themselves stranded in a desolate cornfield. As night falls, the group soon realizes that they are not alone, and they must fight for their lives against a relentless, supernatural force that takes the form of a monstrous, corn-husk creature.
The story begins with the five teenagers, Chris, Taylor, Bryan, Shannon, and Alex, on their way to a rock concert. They decide to take a detour and wind up in a desolate cornfield. When they try to leave, they discover that their car has broken down and they have no way to call for help. As they explore their surroundings, they are disturbed by strange noises and the feeling of being watched.
The group soon discovers that the cornfield is haunted by a supernatural force, which takes the form of a giant, corn-husk creature. The creature stalks them through the cornfield, killing anyone who gets in its way. The teens must use their wits and courage to survive the night and find a way out of the cornfield.
The group eventually discovers that the creature is the spirit of a young boy who was murdered in the cornfield years ago. The creature is seeking revenge on anyone who enters the cornfield, and the only way for the teens to survive is to find a way to put the spirit to rest.
