Synopsis – What to Expect from “Humanoids from the Deep”
Humanoids from the Deep is a 1980 horror film about a small fishing village that is terrorized by a horde of mutated, humanoid creatures from the depths of the ocean.
The movie begins with the arrival of a mysterious stranger to the small town of Noyo. He is looking for a scientist who has been conducting experiments on the local fish population. The townspeople are suspicious of him and his motives, and they soon learn why he has come.
The scientist, Dr. Susan Drake, has been using a powerful growth hormone to create a new species of fish. But the results of her experiments have been far more devastating than she anticipated. The hormone has caused the fish to mutate into humanoid creatures that are stronger and more aggressive than anything the town has ever seen before.
The creatures soon begin to attack the townspeople, killing and mutilating them in their search for food. The townspeople are powerless to stop them, but the mysterious stranger proves to be their only hope. He has a plan to stop the creatures, but it will require the help of the townspeople and the scientist.
The townspeople and the stranger form a plan to lure the creatures away from the town and into a trap. But the plan is put to the test when the creatures attack the town in full force. Will the townspeople be able to survive the onslaught and save their town from destruction?
