Synopsis/Plot
How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a 2014 American computer-animated action fantasy film loosely based on the book series of the same name by Cressida Cowell. It is the sequel to the 2010 computer-animated film How to Train Your Dragon and the second installment in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise.
The movie follows Hiccup and his dragon Toothless five years after the events of the first movie. Hiccup and Toothless have since been exploring and mapping the world beyond their home on the island of Berk. During their travels, they discover a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider.
Hiccup and his friends soon find themselves at the centerof a battle to protect the peace. Hiccup and Toothless must unite the dragons and vikings to stand up against the power-hungry Drago and his army of dragon hunters. Along the way, Hiccup and Toothless learn about themselves, the power of friendship, and what it truly means to be a dragon rider.
