Synopsis – What to Expect from “How to Build a Better Boy”
How to Build a Better Boy follows Mae Hartley (Kelli Berglund) and Gabby Harrison (China Anne McClain), two high school juniors who are best friends and tech geeks. When Mae and Gabby discover a top-secret government program that allows them to create the perfect boy, they decide to use it for their own gain.
Mae and Gabby create Albert (Marshall Williams), a super-smart robot with superhuman strength. At first, the girls use Albert to do their homework and get revenge on the school bullies, but soon they realize he can do much more than that. Albert quickly becomes popular at school, and Mae and Gabby find themselves in over their heads.
When the government finds out about Albert, they send in agents to take him away. Mae and Gabby must use their wits and tech savvy to outsmart the agents and keep Albert safe. Along the way, they learn important lessons about friendship, self-confidence, and the power of technology.
In the end, Mae and Gabby realize that Albert isn’t just a robot; he’s a real person who deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. With the help of their newfound friends, they fight to keep Albert safe and prove that technology can be used for good.
