For a good reason, Bleach remains one of the most successful anime series. It remains a part of the golden generation of anime series, joining a star-studded line-up of Dragonball Z, Naruto, One Piece, and Fairy Tail to make the big five.
But the big question is, how many Bleach episodes are on Netflix? Not all of Bleach is accessible to read or see. And why is that? Well, it depends. Licensing issues can be a huge pain if you don’t know what you are talking about. So, companies and services like Netflix often fail to bring these shows to a global audience, either because the creator isn’t available or because local broadcasts are more important.
So, let’s find out!
Why Still Watch Bleach?
As we discussed earlier, Bleach is one of the most critically and commercially acclaimed anime series and an adaptation of the manga of the same name, written and illustrated by Tite Kubo. The movie was directed by Noriyuki Abe, with Studio Pierrot producing it.
How Many Episodes of Bleach Are There?
Bleach has 366 episodes divided into 10 volumes, with the bulk of the arc supported by 163 filler episodes.
How Many Episodes of Bleach Are On Netflix?
Sadly, out of the available 366, only 60 episodes have made their way onto Netflix. But there is a way you can access all of the rest: Crunchyroll. The most widely-known anime viewing service out there, Crunchyroll, has all of the episodes of Bleach, all 10 volumes.
Best Bleach Movies
Aside from the series, there are several animated and live-action movies that the franchise has spawned, and pretty good ones at that too –
Bleach The Movie: Memoires of Nobody
Picking up after the events of the Soul Society section of the anime, this movie has the main character, Ichigo Kurosake, fight off Hollows in the Human World.
With a common enemy rumbling in the background, the Humans must join forces with the Soul Society to get things back to normal.
Bleach The Movie: Fade To Black
When Rukia Kuchiki is erased from everyone’s memory, Ichigo and Rukia face the wrath of the entire Soul Society, which is no longer aware of who these two are. They must also uncover the mystery of Dark Rukia.
Bleach The Movie: Hell Verse
Where do you go to fight next when you have done everything there is to do in badassery? Hell, of course. Hell Verse is a story about Ichigo and his friends’ adventures as they go down below to save Yuzu, who is trapped there.
But, a problem arises when Ichigo’s Hollow abilities come under the notice of the administration there.
Not wanting to end on a bummer note, we would like to say that Bleach is worth watching, whether it is available on Netflix or not.
The characters are fascinating, Ichigo’s struggle is inspiring, and the rest of the cast are perfect counters to his attitude.
If you haven’t watched Bleach yet, then what are you doing?
Watch it now!
