Synopsis/Plot
How High is a 2001 stoner comedy starring Method Man and Redman as two pot-smoking slackers who use their knowledge of marijuana to get into Harvard. The film follows Silas (Method Man) and Jamal (Redman) as they attempt to pass their entrance exams by smoking a special strain of marijuana that gives them incredible insight and knowledge. With the help of their magical weed, the duo is able to ace their exams and gain admission to the prestigious university.
Once they get to Harvard, Silas and Jamal find themselves in over their heads as they try to fit into the world of Ivy League academics. As they struggle to keep up with their studies, they also must deal with the various obstacles that come with being two pot-smoking college students. From the dean’s attempts to expel them to the campus police’s attempts to bust them, Silas and Jamal must rely on their wit and their weed to get them through their college experience.
The film is a hilarious and heartwarming look at the struggles of college life and the power of friendship. With its irreverent humor, How High is sure to be a favorite among stoners and non-stoners alike.
