Synopsis/Plot
House is a 1977 horror film directed by Steve Miner and starring William Katt, George Wendt, Richard Moll, and Kay Lenz. The film follows Roger Cobb, a Vietnam veteran and horror novelist, as he moves into his aunt’s old house in order to write his latest book. However, he soon finds himself battling the supernatural forces that inhabit the house, which have been unleashed by his aunt’s mysterious death.
The film begins with Roger’s arrival at the house, which is located in a quiet suburban neighborhood. He quickly realizes that the house is haunted, as strange noises and apparitions begin to appear. As the hauntings intensify, Roger discovers that the house is the gateway to a supernatural realm, and that his aunt’s death was caused by a powerful entity known as the Beast. With the help of his friend, a psychic named Harlan, Roger must face the Beast in order to save his own life and the lives of the other inhabitants of the house.
