Synopsis – What to Expect from “Horror Express”
Horror Express is a 1972 British-Spanish horror film directed by Eugenio Martín. The film follows Dr. Saxton, a renowned anthropologist and explorer, who discovers a frozen prehistoric creature aboard the Trans-Siberian Express. He soon discovers that the creature is not only alive, but also possesses powerful psychic abilities that allow it to possess and control other people.
The film opens on the Trans-Siberian Express, as Dr. Saxton and his assistant, Professor Alexander Saxton, are on their way to Moscow. They are transporting a large crate containing a prehistoric creature they have recently discovered in Manchuria. As the train continues on its journey, strange events begin to occur. Passengers start to behave strangely, and some even disappear altogether.
When the train stops in the middle of nowhere, Saxton and his assistant investigate and discover that the creature they are transporting is still alive and has been using its psychic powers to possess people and control their minds. As they try to contain the creature, they must battle its supernatural forces and fight off hordes of possessed passengers.
With the help of a mysterious monk, they attempt to save the passengers and stop the creature from wreaking havoc on the train. In a thrilling climax, Saxton and his assistant must use their wits and courage to save the train, its passengers, and the world from the horror of the ancient creature.
