Synopsis/Plot
Hooking Up is a 2020 romantic comedy film directed by Nico Raineau and starring Brittany Snow, Sam Richardson, Anna Akana, and Jordan Cristopher. The movie follows Bailey (Snow) and Darla (Akana) as they embark on a wild night of partying and self-discovery in the town of Montello.
Bailey is a recent college graduate who is trying to figure out what to do with her life. She has no job, no prospects, and no direction. When her best friend from college, Darla, invites her to a wild night at a local bar, Bailey jumps at the chance. She quickly finds herself in a wild night of partying and self-discovery. Along the way, she meets a charming stranger, Max (Richardson), and the two quickly hit it off.
As the night progresses, Bailey and Darla find themselves in a series of misadventures involving drugs, alcohol, and a wild night of partying. As the night winds down, Bailey and Max find themselves in a compromising situation, and Bailey must decide if she wants to take a chance on love or if she will return to her old life.
