Synopsis/Plot
Honey, I Blew Up the Kid is a 1992 comedy film directed by Randal Kleiser and starring Rick Moranis, Marcia Strassman, and Robert Oliveri. The film is a sequel to the 1989 film Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.
The story follows Wayne Szalinski (Moranis), a scientist and inventor who has created a machine that can enlarge objects. When his son, Adam (Oliveri), gets too close to the machine, he is accidentally enlarged to an enormous size. With the help of his wife, Diane (Strassman), Wayne must find a way to get Adam back to his normal size before it’s too late.
Along the way, Wayne and Diane must contend with the dangers of having a giant toddler on the loose. With the help of their daughter, Amy (Jared Rushton), they must also find a way to keep Adam’s size a secret from the authorities.
The film is a lighthearted family comedy filled with laughs and heartwarming moments. It’s a great movie for kids and adults alike, and is sure to leave viewers with a smile on their faces.
