Synopsis – What to Expect from “Highwaymen”
Highwaymen is a 2004 action thriller film starring Jim Caviezel and Rhona Mitra. It follows the story of two former convicts, Frank (Caviezel) and Annie (Mitra) who team up to take down a notorious serial killer known as The Highwayman (Robert Joy).
The Highwayman has been killing people on highways across the country and has become a media sensation. Frank and Annie are determined to take him down and become the heroes they never were in their past lives. The two set out on a cross-country journey to find the killer and bring him to justice.
On their journey, they meet a variety of characters, all of whom have their own secrets. They also discover that the Highwayman is not the only one with a dark past. As they get closer to finding the killer, they are also forced to confront their own pasts and the secrets they have been hiding.
The two eventually find the Highwayman and a thrilling car chase ensues. In the end, Frank and Annie are able to bring the killer to justice and reclaim their own lives in the process. The film ends with the two of them living happily ever after.
