Synopsis – What to Expect from “Help!”
Help! is a 1965 British musical comedy film starring The Beatles. The film follows the misadventures of Ringo Starr as he is pursued by a cult for a sacrificial ring that he cannot remove from his finger.
The movie opens with Ringo Starr receiving a mysterious package containing a ring with a red gemstone. As Ringo puts it on, he finds that he cannot remove it. Later, Ringo is pursued by two members of a cult from East India, who are looking for the ring. They believe that the ring contains the sacrificial finger of their goddess and that they must return it to her.
Meanwhile, Ringo’s bandmates, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison, become involved in the chase as they try to help Ringo. They find themselves pursued by the cult members, the police, and a mad scientist, who all want the ring for their own sinister purposes.
The Beatles eventually find themselves in the Austrian Alps, where they are pursued by the cult members and the police. They must use their wits and musical abilities to outwit their pursuers and find a way to get the ring off of Ringo’s finger.
The movie culminates in an epic battle between the Beatles and the cult members, ending with the Beatles being declared the victors. The movie ends with the Beatles back in London, where Ringo finally manages to get the ring off his finger.
