Synopsis/Plot
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is the fifth installment in the popular Harry Potter series. The movie follows Harry Potter, a young wizard, as he begins his fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry is determined to prepare the school’s students for the looming battle against the evil Lord Voldemort, who is determined to take over the wizarding world.
The movie opens with Harry and his friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, returning to Hogwarts for their fifth year of magical education. Upon their arrival, they are met with a much different atmosphere than they are used to. The Ministry of Magic has appointed a new headmaster, Dolores Umbridge, who is determined to keep the students in lineand prevent any discussion of the return of Voldemort. Harry is determined to form a secret group of students, the Order of the Phoenix, to prepare for the battle against Voldemort. The movie follows Harry and his friends as they navigate the increasingly dangerous world of the wizarding world, facing off against Voldemort’s forces and struggling to keep the Order of the Phoenix alive. Along the way, Harry learns more about his own powers and the importance of friendship and loyalty. With the help of his friends, Harry is ultimately able to defeat Voldemort and save the wizarding world.
