Synopsis/Plot
Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle is a 2004 American stoner comedy film directed by Danny Leiner. The film stars John Cho and Kal Penn as Harold Lee and Kumar Patel, two stoners who set out on a quest to satisfy their craving for White Castle hamburgers. Along the way they encounter a variety of characters, including a racist police officer, a cheetah, and Neil Patrick Harris playing himself.
The film follows Harold and Kumar, two twenty-something roommates living in New Jersey, as they set out on a mission to satisfy their craving for White Castle hamburgers. After smoking marijuana, they become convinced that only White Castle burgers can satisfy their hunger. Despite numerous obstacles, including a racist police officer, an escaped cheetah, and a series of bizarre encounters, they eventually make it to White Castle. Along the way, they meet Neil Patrick Harris, who is on a mission of his own.
