Synopsis – What to Expect from “Hardbodies”
Hardbodies is a 1984 American comedy film directed by Mark Griffiths, starring Grant Cramer, Gary Wood, and Courtney Gains.
The film follows three young men, Jack, Adam, and Kenny, who are looking to make some money in order to pay off their rent. They come up with a plan to rent out a beach house and have a party every weekend. They invite a bunch of girls over and charge them an entrance fee.
At the start of the film, the three friends are struggling to make ends meet and are barely able to pay their rent. Jack is a struggling actor who is desperate for work and is willing to do anything to make money. Adam is a stockbroker who is trying to make it big in the stock market. Kenny is an aspiring musician who is trying to make it big as a rock star.
The three friends soon realize that their plan is working and they are making a lot of money. However, they soon find out that the girls they are inviting to their party are not just there to have a good time. They are actually part of a prostitution ring and are using the beach house as a front for their activities.
The three friends must decide whether to keep profiting off of the prostitution ring or to put a stop to it. Meanwhile, Jack is falling for one of the girls, Lisa, and is determined to save her from the prostitution ring.
