Synopsis – What to Expect from “Harbinger Down”
Harbinger Down is a 2015 science fiction horror film directed by Alec Gillis and produced by Tom Woodruff Jr. The film follows a group of graduate students who take a job working on a fishing trawler in the Bering Sea. Little do they know that the boat’s captain, Graff, is actually a Russian scientist who has been experimenting on a strange creature found in the depths of the ocean.
The students soon discover that the creature is actually an alien with the ability to mutate and infect any living creature it comes into contact with. Graff has been using the creature to create a powerful and deadly hybrid virus that could be used as a weapon of mass destruction.
The students must now find a way to contain the creature and prevent it from infecting the crew and the rest of the world. As they battle the creature, they must also face Graff and his crew, who are determined to use the creature for their own nefarious purposes.
The students must work together to contain the creature and prevent it from infecting the world, while also facing the dangers of the deep sea and the ever-present threat of Graff and his crew. In the end, the students must make the ultimate sacrifice to save the world from the creature and its deadly virus.
