Synopsis/Plot
Happily N’Ever After is a 2006 computer-animated fantasy comedy film directed by Paul J. Bolger and produced by John H. Williams. The movie follows the story of Cinderella, who is about to marry her Prince Charming when an evil witch, Frieda, intervenes. Frieda has been secretly conspiring with Cinderella’s stepmother, Lady Vain, to take over Fairy Tale Land and make sure that all the stories end with the wicked getting their way. With the help of her bumbling sidekick, Munk, Frieda casts a spell of darkness over the land, turning all of the fairy tale creatures against one another.
In order to restore balance to Fairy Tale Land, Cinderella teams up with her two stepsisters, Ella and Anastasia, as well as her animal friends, Mambo the chicken and Munk the dwarf. With the help of a magical talking mirror, the group embarks on a quest to find the ingredients for a spell that will break Frieda’s curse. Along the way, they must battle a giant spider, a dragon, and the witch’s minions. They also discover the true power of friendship and courage.
