Synopsis – What to Expect from “Hansel and Gretel”
Hansel and Gretel is a 1988 fantasy adventure film that follows the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale of the same name.
The film follows the story of two young siblings, Hansel and Gretel, who are sent into the woods by their parents. The children wander deeper and deeper into the forest, eventually coming across an old, abandoned cottage. Inside, they find a witch who has been enchanting the children of the village, turning them into gingerbread.
The witch, however, has a plan to make Hansel and Gretel her permanent captives. She tricks them into eating a magical gingerbread house, and then captures them.
The siblings must use their wits to outsmart the witch and escape the gingerbread house. With the help of a friendly fox, they eventually make their way back home.
The film is filled with magical creatures, daring escapes, and a happy ending. It’s a classic fairy tale that will leave viewers feeling satisfied and inspired.
