Synopsis/Plot
Handsome Devil is an Irish comedy-drama written and directed by John Butler. It follows the story of Ned, an outsider at a prestigious school for boys. After being assigned to the same room as Conor, the star of the rugby team, the two boys develop an unlikely friendship.
When Conor’s coach, Pascal, discovers the two boys’ friendship, he forces them to join the rugby team in order to prove that Conor is not gay. As the boys struggle to prove themselves on the field, they also strive to overcome the prejudice and intolerance of their peers.
