Synopsis/Plot
Halo: Landfall is a live-action short film based on the Halo video game series. Set in the 26th century, the film follows the story of a group of UNSC Marines as they fight to protect Earth from the alien Covenant forces.
The film begins with the UNSC Marines being deployed to the planet Reach, the last line of defense against the Covenant. Led by Sergeant Major Avery Johnson, the Marines must battle their way through the Covenant forces in order to reach a vital communications array. Along the way, they face off against a powerful enemy leader known as the Arbiter, and must also contend with the planet’s harsh environment and dangerous wildlife.
The Marines fight their way through the Covenant forces, eventually reaching the communications array and preventing the Covenant from gaining access to it. However, the Arbiter is still at large, and the Marines must face him in a climactic battle. In the end, the Marines are triumphant, and Johnson is able to send a distress signal to Earth, warning of the impending Covenant invasion.
