Synopsis/Plot
Halloween: Resurrection is a 2002 American slasher film directed by Rick Rosenthal and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Busta Rhymes, and Tyra Banks. The eighth installment in the Halloween franchise, it follows a group of teenagers who are chosen to participate in a reality show at the childhood home of serial killer Michael Myers, where he has returned to continue his killing spree.
The film begins with Michael Myers, who has been in a coma since his last confrontation with Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Meanwhile, a group of college students, including Bill Woodlake (Busta Rhymes), Donna Chang (Tyra Banks), and Jim Morgan (Luke Kirby), have been chosen to take part in a reality TV show called Dangertainment, which will be filmed in the Myers house. The group is unaware of the house’s past, and they soon find themselves in a terrifying game of cat and mouse with Michael Myers.
The group must fight for their lives as Michael stalks and kills them one by one. Meanwhile, Laurie Strode and her daughter, Jamie Lloyd (Bianca Kajlich), are tracking down Michael in an attempt to put an end to his killing spree. As the night progresses,
