Synopsis/Plot
Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers is a 1988 horror film and the fourth installment in the Halloween film series. Directed by Dwight H. Little, the film stars Donald Pleasence as Dr. Sam Loomis, Ellie Cornell as Rachel Carruthers, and Danielle Harris as Jamie Lloyd.
The film takes place ten years after the events of Halloween II, with Michael Myers having been in a coma for the past decade. He wakes up and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois to continue his killing spree. Meanwhile, a young girl named Jamie Lloyd, who is the niece of Laurie Strode (the protagonist of the first two films) is adopted by the Carruthers family and begins to have visions of Michael Myers.
Dr. Loomis, who has been searching for Michael for years, returns to Haddonfield to try and stop him. When Michael begins to kill again, Loomis teams up with the police to try and stop him. Michael eventually makes his way to the Carruthers home, where Jamie is hiding. After a tense showdown, Jamie manages to escape and Michael is seemingly killed.
