Synopsis – What to Expect from “Half Past Dead”
Half Past Dead is a 2002 action-thriller starring Steven Seagal and Morris Chestnut. The film follows Sasha (Seagal), an undercover agent who infiltrates a maximum-security prison to find out the whereabouts of a stolen nuclear device.
Upon entering the prison, Sasha learns that the inmates have taken over the facility and are planning to break out a notorious crime lord, Jonathan “The Boss” Barclay (Ja Rule), who is being held in the prison’s death row. With the help of a fellow inmate, Nick (Chestnut), Sasha must try to stop the breakout and find the nuclear device before it is used to cause mass destruction.
The prison is filled with dangerous criminals and the situation quickly escalates when the inmates realize that Sasha is an undercover agent. Sasha and Nick must use their wits and combat skills to survive the prison and prevent the breakout.
