Synopsis/Plot
Hackers is a 1995 American crime film directed by Iain Softley and starring Jonny Lee Miller, Angelina Jolie, Jesse Bradford, Matthew Lillard, and Laurence Mason. The film follows a group of young computer hackers who use their technical skills to pull off a series of cyber-heists.
The story follows Dade (Jonny Lee Miller), a hacker nicknamed “Crash Override”, and his friends, Kate (Angelina Jolie) and Joey (Jesse Bradford). When Dade discovers a malicious computer virus called “The Plague” created by a rival hacker, he and his friends must race against time to stop it from spreading across the world. Along the way, they must face off against a powerful security firm, the FBI, and a mysterious hacker known only as “The Phantom”.
The film is a thrilling ride as Dade and his friends use their technical skills to outwit their opponents. With its fast-paced action sequences, Hackers is an entertaining movie with plenty of suspense and excitement. It’s a fun, stylish look at the world of computer hacking and the lengths people will go to in order to protect their own interests.
