Synopsis/Plot
Guns for San Sebastian is a 1968 western directed by Henri Verneuil and starring Anthony Quinn and Charles Bronson. Set in the late 19th century, the story follows a group of Mexican revolutionaries who enlist the help of a mysterious French priest, Father Michel (Quinn), to help them in their fight for freedom.
Father Michel is a man of God who has a deep understanding of the injustices being done to the people of Mexico by their oppressors. He agrees to help the revolutionaries, though his motivations are not entirely clear. He is joined by a group of mercenaries, led by the ruthless leader, El Diablo (Bronson).
The revolutionaries and their allies make their way to the town of San Sebastian, where they plan to take on the powerful Mexican forces. The town is defended by a massive fort, and the revolutionaries must find a way to breach the defenses. With the help of Father Michel, they devise a daring plan to use guns to break down the fort’s walls.
Father Michel and El Diablo lead the charge, and the revolutionaries are successful in taking the fort. However, they soon find themselves fighting a losing battle as the Mexican forces regroup and prepare for a counterattack.
