Synopsis/Plot
Gun Shy is a 2000 action-comedy starring Antonio Banderas as Turk, an undercover DEA agent who is sent to a remote island off the coast of Chile to investigate the disappearance of a British diplomat. Turk is accompanied by his wife, Sheila (Olga Kurylenko), who is a British secret agent.
Turk and Sheila find themselves in the middle of a drug smuggling operation led by a ruthless drug lord, Sal (Mark Valley). Sal is determined to keep his operation a secret, and he sends his henchmen to kill anyone who gets in his way. In order to protect themselves, Turk and Sheila enlist the help of a local fisherman named Charlie (Gérard Depardieu).
Together, the trio must battle Sal’s gang of drug smugglers and protect the island’s residents from Sal’s reign of terror. Along the way, they must also contend with a band of pirates and a mysterious figure known as the Captain (Liam Neeson).
