Synopsis/Plot
Gully is an intense and emotionally charged drama about the harsh realities of life on the streets of Los Angeles. It follows three teenagers, Tye (Kelvin Harrison Jr.), Lex (Jacob Latimore) and Javi (Charlie Plummer), as they struggle to survive the violent and unpredictable world of the inner city. The trio are from different backgrounds, but all share a common bond of poverty and the need to escape the dangerous streets.
Tye is a sensitive and creative youth who dreams of becoming a rapper. He is desperate to escape the poverty of his home and the violence of the streets. Lex is a street-smart hustler who uses his charm and street smarts to survive. He is a survivor and is determined to get out of the ghetto. Javi is a troubled teen who is struggling with his identity and trying to find a place to belong.
The film follows the trio as they navigate the harsh realities of life on the streets. They must deal with gangs, drugs, and police brutality, while also trying to make a living. As they struggle to survive, they must decide if they can trust each other and if they can find a way out of the gutter.
