Synopsis – What to Expect from “Group Sex”
Group Sex is a 2010 comedy-drama directed by Lawrence Trilling. The film follows a group of friends, all in their late twenties, who decide to explore their sexuality by engaging in an orgy.
The movie opens with four friends, Adam (Josh Cooke), Jennifer (Kathryn Aselton), Eric (Zac Levi) and Laura (Lindsay Sloane), all in their late twenties, discussing the idea of having an orgy. While they are all excited by the prospect, they are also nervous about it and have a lot of questions.
Adam and Jennifer are a couple and they are the most enthusiastic about the idea. Eric is single and is the most hesitant. Laura is married but is separated from her husband and is also eager to explore her sexuality.
The group decides to meet up at Adam and Jennifer’s house for the orgy. When they arrive, they find that their friend, Mike (Rob Benedict), has also shown up. After some initial awkwardness, the group begins to explore their desires.
As the night progresses, the group discovers that they are not as comfortable with the idea of a group sex as they initially thought. They begin to question their own feelings and those of the others in the group.
The night ends with a lot of emotions and unresolved issues. The group has to decide if they are ready to move forward with the idea of a group sex or if they should just move
