Synopsis – What to Expect from “Grizzly”
Grizzly is a 1976 horror film directed by William Girdler. It tells the story of a 15-foot grizzly bear that terrorizes a state park and the park ranger who is forced to hunt it down.
The film begins with a group of campers in the park who are attacked by the bear, leaving one of them, a young woman, severely injured. The park ranger, Michael Kelly (Christopher George), is alerted to the situation and sets out to track the bear.
Michael soon discovers that the bear is far larger and more aggressive than any bear he has ever seen before. He also learns that the bear has been killing livestock and terrorizing the local townsfolk.
Michael teams up with a local hunter, Jake (Andrew Prine), to hunt the bear down. They set out on a mission to find the bear and kill it.
As they track the bear, they come across several other victims of the bear’s attacks, including a young boy who was mauled by the bear. This further motivates Michael and Jake to take the bear down.
The pair eventually come face to face with the bear and a tense stand-off ensues. In a desperate attempt to save his own life, Michael lures the bear away from the campers and into the woods.
The bear follows and Michael and Jake finally manage to kill the bear. With the bear dead,
