Synopsis/Plot
Gretel & Hansel is a dark fantasy horror film based on the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Directed by Oz Perkins, the film follows young siblings Gretel and Hansel as they venture into a dark, sinister forest in search of food and work. On their journey, they stumble upon a mysterious cottage belonging to a mysterious old woman who entices them inside with her sweet treats. Unbeknownst to the siblings, the old woman is actually a powerful witch who has been manipulating the forest and its inhabitants for her own sinister purposes.
The witch, known as Holda, forces Gretel and Hansel to work in her cottage in exchange for food and shelter. As the siblings struggle to survive, they must also confront their own fears and inner demons. With the help of a mysterious creature, they must find a way to outwit the witch and escape the forest before they become her next victims.
