Synopsis/Plot
Gremlins 2: The New Batch is a 1990 American comedy horror film and the sequel to the 1984 film Gremlins. It was directed by Joe Dante and written by Charles S. Haas and Charlie Haas. The film stars Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates, John Glover, Robert Prosky, and Robert Picardo, with Howie Mandel providing the voice of Gizmo.
The film follows the adventures of Billy Peltzer (Galligan) and his pet mogwai Gizmo (Mandel) as they try to stop a new batch of gremlins from taking over a high-tech corporate skyscraper in New York City. The new batch of gremlins are smarter, faster, and more dangerous than their predecessors, and they have access to the building’s many technological resources.
Billy and Gizmo enlist the help of the building’s eccentric new owner, Daniel Clamp (Glover), and the building’s staff to battle the gremlins. Along the way, they must contend with the gremlins’ leader, Brain (Picardo), who has mutated into a super-intelligent creature, and the mysterious, sinister figure of Mr. Wing (
