Synopsis/Plot
Graveyard Shift is an American horror film released in 1990. The movie follows the story of a group of workers who take a job in an old, abandoned textile mill in a small Maine town. The mill is rumored to be haunted, and the workers soon find out why.
John Hall (David Andrews) is the new supervisor of the mill and is determined to make the mill profitable. He hires a group of workers, including a drifter named Steve (Brad Dourif), a janitor named Hall (Stephen Macht), and a young woman named Jane (Kelly Wolf).
At first, the workers don’t believe the rumors of a ghost haunting the mill, but soon strange things start to happen. The workers experience strange noises, unexplainable occurrences, and sightings of a ghostly figure. When Hall orders the workers to work the graveyard shift, the terror intensifies.
The workers soon discover that the mill is home to a colony of giant rats that are responsible for the deaths of several workers. When the rats attack the workers, they must fight for their lives. With the help of Steve, the workers are able to fight off the rats and escape the mill.
