Synopsis – What to Expect from “Going the Distance”
Going the Distance is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Garrett, a music journalist, and Erin, an aspiring businesswoman, as they try to make their long-distance relationship work.
Garrett and Erin meet at a bar in New York City and instantly hit it off. After a night of fun and romance, they have to say goodbye when Erin is offered a dream job in San Francisco. Despite the distance, they decide to keep their relationship alive.
Garrett visits Erin in San Francisco to surprise her and they decide to make the most of their time together. Garrett gets Erin a job at a local radio station and they both enjoy the city life. But the long distance takes its toll, and they soon find themselves struggling to keep their relationship alive.
When Garrett’s job in New York is threatened, Erin encourages him to take a job in San Francisco so they can be together. He takes the job and moves to San Francisco, but soon finds himself in a difficult situation when Erin’s boss tries to take advantage of her.
Garrett and Erin must find a way to make their relationship work and to fight for their love. With the help of their friends, they must learn to trust each other and to make their long-distance relationship work.
