Synopsis/Plot
Ghostbusters II is a 1989 American supernatural comedy film directed and produced by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It is the sequel to the 1984 film Ghostbusters and stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harold Ramis, Rick Moranis, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts.
In the film, the Ghostbusters are called back into action when a river of ectoplasmic slime, created by the ghost of a 16th-century tyrant, begins to flood the city of New York. The Ghostbusters must find a way to stop the slime before it causes the city to be destroyed.
The movie begins with the Ghostbusters being sued by the city for the damages caused by their first battle with Gozer. The Ghostbusters are then forced to close their business and are out of work. Meanwhile, a river of ectoplasmic slime is discovered beneath the city and it is revealed that it is being created by the ghost of a 16th-century tyrant, Vigo the Carpathian.
The Ghostbusters must find a way to stop Vigo and the slime before it destroys the city. They enlist the help of a psychic, Dr.
