Synopsis – What to Expect from “Ghost Dad”
Ghost Dad is a 1990 comedy film starring Bill Cosby and directed by Sidney Poitier. The next morning, Elliot wakes up to find that his wish has been granted and he is now a ghost. He quickly learns that he can only be seen by his children and a few other people. He also discovers that he can pass through walls and objects, as well as fly. As he learns to adjust to his new life, he also struggles to find a way to make the job offer work for his family.
Meanwhile, Elliot’s children are dealing with their own issues. His oldest daughter, Diane (Kimberly Russell), is trying to cope with the loss of her mother and is getting into trouble at school. His middle daughter, Donna (Terri Garber), is trying to find her place in the world and is dealing with a bully at school. His youngest daughter, Kim (Karen Malina White), is trying to make sense of her father’s sudden disappearance.
