Synopsis – What to Expect from “Get a Clue”
Get a Clue is a 2002 comedy-adventure film directed by Maggie Greenwald. The movie stars Lindsay Lohan as Lexy Gold, a high school student who finds herself in the middle of a mystery.
Lexy is a straight-A student at a posh private school who dreams of becoming a journalist. She is also the only one who notices when her teacher, Mrs. Griffin, mysteriously disappears. When Lexy and her best friend, Jack Downey, investigate, they discover that Mrs. Griffin was working on a top-secret project for a powerful pharmaceutical company.
The pair soon find themselves in a race against time to stop the company from releasing a dangerous drug on the market. Along the way, they must dodge the company’s henchmen, outsmart the police, and uncover the secrets of Mrs. Griffin’s disappearance.
The movie follows Lexy and Jack as they outwit the adults and get closer to the truth. With the help of Lexy’s computer skills and Jack’s street smarts, the two uncover an international conspiracy and save the day. Along the way, they discover the power of friendship and learn that no matter how tough the situation, they can get a clue and figure it out.
