Synopsis – What to Expect from “Geri’s Game”
Geri’s Game is a 1997 Pixar animated short film directed by Jan Pinkava. The film tells the story of an elderly man named Geri, who is playing a game of chess against himself in a park.
The film begins with Geri, an elderly man, walking through a park. He takes a seat in the park and sets up a chess board. He then begins to play a game of chess against himself. As he plays the game, Geri begins to talk to himself, telling himself jokes and providing his own commentary on the game.
As the game progresses, Geri becomes more and more animated and begins to play in a more aggressive manner. He begins to move pieces around the board more quickly and makes bold moves. He also starts to move pieces around the board in a way that is not consistent with the rules of chess.
At one point, Geri moves a piece in a way that would give him an unbeatable advantage. He then realizes that he has made a mistake and begins to laugh. He then moves the piece back and continues to play.
