Synopsis – What to Expect from “Gargoyles”
Gargoyles is a 1972 horror/fantasy movie directed by Bill Norton and starring Cornel Wilde, Jennifer Salt, and Grayson Hall.
The movie starts with a professor, Dr. Mercer Boley (Cornel Wilde), and his daughter Diana (Jennifer Salt) travelling to a small town in the middle of nowhere. The town is known for its legends of gargoyles – mythical creatures that guard castles and churches. Boley is there to study the gargoyles, and Diana is there to help her father.
The locals of the town are suspicious of Boley and Diana, and they are warned to stay away from the castle at night. But Boley and Diana are determined to find out more about the gargoyles, so they sneak into the castle at night.
Inside the castle, Boley and Diana discover a secret chamber where the gargoyles are kept. Boley is fascinated by the gargoyles, and he decides to take one back to his laboratory to study it.
However, the gargoyles are not just statues – they are living, breathing creatures that come alive at night. Boley and Diana soon discover that the gargoyles are not friendly, and they are determined to protect the castle and its secrets.
Boley and Diana must battle the gargoyles and uncover the secrets of the castle before it’s too late. Along the way, they encounter a mysterious old woman
