Synopsis/Plot
Galaxy Quest is a 1999 science fiction comedy film directed by Dean Parisot and written by David Howard and Robert Gordon. The film stars Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell, and Daryl Mitchell.
The story follows the cast of a fictional science-fiction television series, Galaxy Quest, which is set in the 24th century. The cast, who have been out of work since the show was canceled, are invited to a convention for the show’s fans. However, they soon discover that the convention is actually a recruitment event by an alien race called the Thermians, who have mistaken the show for a historical document.
The Thermians have built a replica of the show’s spaceship, the NSEA Protector, and ask the cast to help them fight against a powerful enemy, the evil alien race known as the “Sarris”. The cast reluctantly agree to help the Thermians, and they set off on an adventure to save the galaxy.
The cast must use their knowledge of the show to help them navigate the unfamiliar universe, and they must also rely on their wits and courage to help them survive the many dangers they face. Along
