Synopsis/Plot
Gabriel is a 2008 Australian supernatural drama film written and directed by Shane Abbess. The film follows Gabriel (Andy Whitfield), an archangel sent to Earth to bring about the end of days.
Gabriel arrives in a small Australian town and quickly finds himself at odds with the local police force and the town’s religious leaders. He befriends a local girl, Mary (Samantha Noble), who is struggling to cope with her father’s death, and together they try to unravel the mystery of Gabriel’s mission.
As Gabriel’s mission becomes clearer, he finds himself in a battle with a powerful and ancient force that is determined to stop him from fulfilling his destiny. With the fate of the world in the balance, Gabriel must use all of his strength, courage and faith to save mankind.
