Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs is the second of four direct-to-DVD movies based on the animated TV series Futurama.
The movie begins with the Planet Express crew celebrating their first anniversary in space. But their joy is short-lived as an immense, tentacled creature known as the “Beast with a Billion Backs” appears and begins to consume the universe.
The Beast is revealed to be Yivo, an alien entity from another universe. Yivo has come to the universe to court all of its inhabitants and form a single, unified society with them. However, Yivo’s intentions are not as benevolent as they seem, as Yivo is actually trying to consume the universe’s inhabitants for its own mysterious purposes.
Fry, Leela, and the rest of the Planet Express crew must find a way to stop Yivo and save the universe. Along the way, they must contend with the mysterious forces that are manipulating the situation from behind the scenes.
Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs is an exciting, action-packed adventure that follows the Planet Express crew as they attempt to save the universe from Yivo’s clutches.
