Synopsis – What to Expect from “Fury”
Fury is a 1936 drama film directed by Fritz Lang and starring Sylvia Sidney, Spencer Tracy, Walter Abel, Bruce Cabot, and Edward Ellis. The film follows the story of Joe Wilson, a small-town man who is falsely accused of murder.
The story begins in a small town in the Midwest. Joe Wilson is a simple, hardworking man with a loving wife and a young son. When a bank robbery goes wrong and the police come looking for the robbers, Joe is wrongfully accused of being one of them. Joe is arrested and sent to prison.
Joe’s wife, Katherine, is determined to prove her husband’s innocence. She enlists the help of a prominent lawyer, who takes on the case. The lawyer discovers that Joe was framed and sets out to prove it.
Meanwhile, Joe is subjected to harsh treatment in prison. He is beaten and humiliated by the guards, and his spirit is broken. When the lawyer finally succeeds in freeing Joe, he is a broken man.
Katherine and Joe try to rebuild their lives, but Joe’s experience in prison has left him scarred and bitter. He is unable to find work, and the townspeople shun him. Joe’s only hope is to find the real bank robbers and clear his name.
Katherine and Joe set out to find the bank robbers. They soon discover that the robbers are connected to a powerful gangster. Joe decides to confront the gangster
