Synopsis/Plot
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan is a horror movie released in 1989. It is the eighth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise and is directed by Rob Hedden.
The movie follows a group of high school graduates who are taking a graduation trip to New York City. Unbeknownst to them, the infamous serial killer Jason Voorhees (Kane Hodder) has stowed away on their boat, the S.S. Lazarus. As the boat sails towards Manhattan, Jason begins to wreak havoc, killing anyone who crosses his path.
Once the boat reaches Manhattan, Jason continues his murderous rampage, leaving a trail of blood and destruction in his wake. He eventually makes his way to the sewers, where he is confronted by a group of police officers. In the end, Jason is defeated and the survivors are rescued.
