Synopsis/Plot
Friday the 13th: A New Beginning is the fifth installment in the Friday the 13th franchise and was released in 1985. The film follows a group of troubled youths who are sent to an isolated halfway house in rural Pennsylvania. The facility is run by the well-meaning, but strict, Dr. Matthew Letter, who is trying to help the kids turn their lives around. However, the house is located near the grave of the original killer, Jason Voorhees, and his presence soon begins to haunt the group. When the teens start to die one by one in gruesome ways, it becomes apparent that Jason may not be dead after all. As the survivors attempt to uncover the truth behind the mysterious killings, they soon realize that they may be the next victims of the unstoppable force that is Jason Voorhees. With its thrilling suspense and gory violence, Friday the 13th: A New Beginning is a classic slasher flick that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
