Synopsis – What to Expect from “Freddy Got Fingered”
Freddy Got Fingered is a 2001 comedy film starring Tom Green as its lead actor. The movie follows the story of 28-year-old Gord Brody, an aspiring cartoonist who moves back in with his parents after dropping out of art school.
Gord’s father, Jim, is a stern and hardworking man who is disappointed with his son’s lack of ambition and direction in life. Gord’s mother is more supportive of his dreams, but she’s also worried about her son’s future.
Gord eventually finds a job at a local cheese factory, but he’s determined to make it as a cartoonist. He begins working on a series of cartoons featuring a character named Freddy, who is based on a real-life friend of Gord’s.
Gord eventually gets a meeting with a Hollywood producer, but his presentation is a disaster. The producer tears up Gord’s drawings and throws him out of his office.
Desperate for success, Gord begins to fabricate outrageous lies about his life, including a story about his father molesting him as a child. The lies eventually lead to a series of comical misunderstandings, including a scene where Gord is arrested for supposedly molesting a young boy.
Gord’s lies eventually catch up with him, and he’s forced to confront the truth and take responsibility for his actions. In the end, Gord is able to reconcile with his father and get back on the path to achieving
