Synopsis/Plot
Frankie and Johnny is a 1991 romantic comedy-drama starring Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. The film follows the story of Johnny (Pacino), a recently-released convict who falls in love with Frankie (Pfeiffer), a waitress at the diner where he works. Johnny is determined to win Frankie’s heart, but his criminal past and her fear of commitment stand in the way.
The film follows Johnny as he struggles to make a fresh start and overcome his past. He finds solace in the diner, where he works as a short-order cook and meets Frankie.
