Synopsis – What to Expect from “Fragile”
Fragile is a horror-thriller film released in 2005. Set in a remote children’s hospital, the film follows the story of a nurse, Amy (Calista Flockhart), who is sent to the hospital to replace a nurse who has recently died.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Amy quickly realizes that something is not right. The children are terrified and the staff is distant and unhelpful. Amy soon discovers the truth: the hospital is haunted by the ghosts of dead children. The ghosts are seeking revenge for the experiments that the hospital conducted on them.
Amy must now face her fears and figure out a way to save the children from the ghosts. She teams up with an orderly, Jack (Richard Roxburgh), to find a way to stop the ghosts. Together they uncover the hospital’s dark secrets and find a way to put the ghosts to rest.
In the end, Amy and Jack succeed in freeing the children and restoring peace to the hospital. Amy learns a valuable lesson about courage and friendship, and the hospital is able to reopen and continue helping children in need.
