Synopsis/Plot
Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Nicholas Stoller and starring Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, and Russell Brand. The plot revolves around Peter Bretter (Segel), a struggling musician who is devastated when his television star girlfriend, Sarah Marshall (Bell), dumps him. To get away from his heartache, Peter takes a vacation to Hawaii, where he quickly finds himself in a new romance with the resort’s beautiful receptionist, Rachel (Kunis).
