Synopsis/Plot
Forbidden Planet is a classic science fiction film from 1956 that tells the story of a space expedition to the distant planet Altair-IV. The crew, led by Commander John J. Adams (Leslie Nielsen), discovers that the planet is inhabited by a mysterious race of aliens called the Krell. The Krell had been a highly advanced civilization, but their technology had been destroyed in a single night of catastrophic destruction.
As the crew explores the planet, they discover a powerful energy source called the “plastic educator.” This device is capable of creating whatever the user desires, and the crew soon discovers that the Krell had used it to create a powerful monster that had destroyed their civilization.
The crew also discovers the Krell’s last survivor, Dr. Edward Morbius (Walter Pidgeon). Morbius is a brilliant scientist who had been working on the Krell’s technology and has been living alone on the planet. He warns the crew to stay away from the plastic educator, but the crew’s curiosity gets the better of them and they explore the device.
The crew soon finds themselves in a battle with the monster created by the Krell and must find a way to defeat it. Along
