Synopsis – What to Expect from “Flypaper”
Flypaper is a 2011 comedy-throbbing action film directed by Rob Minkoff and starring Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, Tim Blake Nelson, and Mekhi Phifer.
The film follows Tripp (Dempsey), a regular guy who finds himself in the middle of a bank robbery gone awry. As Tripp becomes caught in the crossfire, two gangs of robbers battle it out to gain control of the bank’s safe deposit boxes. With the police outmatched, Tripp must use his wits to protect himself and the hostages.
The film starts with Tripp, a bank customer, entering the bank to deposit a check. Unbeknownst to him, two gangs of robbers have entered the bank with the intent to rob the safe deposit boxes. As the two gangs fight for control of the boxes, Tripp finds himself in the middle of the chaos. He is forced to take cover and help the other hostages as the robbers battle it out.
With the police unable to break through the robbers’ defenses, Tripp must find a way to outsmart them. He must use his quick thinking and ingenuity to protect himself and the other hostages, while also trying to find a way to get the robbers to leave the bank.
Throughout the film, Tripp’s courage and resourcefulness are put to the test as he attempts to save the hostages and himself. With the help of the other hostages, he must find a way to out
